Workshop Overview

Our workshop is dedicated to the often neglected but crucial topics of operational business. We build the foundation to achieve strategic business goals, harmonize these goals and develop portfolio epics, which are then implemented and continuously evaluated. A central point in the agile transformation is to support the transition from a hierarchical planning organization to a team-oriented agile organization. This transformation takes time, which is why we define and implement intermediate steps together and continuously review their progress. The benefits of the SAFe® Executive Workshop depend on the individual needs and challenges of the company and can be adapted accordingly to ensure the greatest possible benefit. It is crucial that the workshop takes place regularly.

Work Objectives

  • Understanding the SAFe® framework: In this workshop, participants gain and consolidate a sound understanding of the SAFe® framework. They will be familiarized with the principles, methods and tools necessary to successfully implement an agile transformation at the level of the entire company.
  • Strategic Alignment: The workshop offers participants the opportunity to align their strategic goals with the agility principles of SAFe®. They will gain the knowledge to align their organization for growth and innovation to survive in today’s dynamic business world.
  • Leadership Development: This workshop is designed to empower leaders by providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to create an agile culture and lead change in the organization. Participants will be empowered to motivate, empower and support their teams to achieve excellence.
  • Improved collaboration: The workshop is an excellent platform for promoting cooperation and dialog between managers from different areas of the company. It enables optimized coordination and integration of activities, which contributes to an increase in work efficiency and quality.
  • Maturity level determination: In the kick-off workshop, we determine the maturity level in various, partly customer-specific areas based on the content. In the regular workshops that follow, we review and adjust this maturity level. Our aim is to continuously increase the maturity level and adapt it flexibly to new challenges.

Target Group

This workshop is aimed specifically at shareholders/supervisory boards and top management levels. If a transformation project already exists, it makes sense to invite the Agile and/or Digital Transformation Lead to determine the level of maturity.

In the initial phase, this workshop is ideally led by an experienced SAFe® expert and transferred to an internal SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) of the customer once an appropriate level of maturity has been reached.

Prerequisites

  • SAFe® Agilist certification of all workshop participants from the Leading SAFe® training course
  • Course participants need a stable and high-performance internet connection for the remote workshop, ideally a headset and a camera.
  • On-site courses require a professional workshop environment that is appropriate for the number of participants. Above all, the room size, ventilation, background noise and equipment must be right. Sometimes it makes sense to hire an external conference room for this purpose. This environment must be available to the workshop leader on the day before the first day of the course for preparation and testing. In the event of questions or problems, the workshop leader needs a contact person from the customer.
