Training overview

In this course, we prepare you and other managers for the Scaled Agile® exam in order to obtain the coveted SAFe® Agilist (SA) certification.

The Leading SAFe® course is a comprehensive gateway to agile transformation and is aimed at anyone interested in innovative and tried-and-tested working methods. It focuses on the framework’s ten lean-agile principles that lay the foundation for agile product development flow, DevOps and lean portfolio management. Participants will learn how to adapt traditional business strategies, budget in a new way with value streams, plan resources much more short-term and across silos, create real value for their internal and external customers with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and take a central role in the lean-agile transformation. With clear guidance and the necessary tools, a common language is promoted to establish a robust corporate culture. Leaders will also learn how to align their organization around common goals and optimize the flow of value and work from strategy to execution. The course is therefore a perfect preparation and support for agile transformations and provides the necessary principles and practices to master them successfully.

Course schedule

Target Group

This course is aimed at a wide range of executives, including supervisory board members/shareholders, board members/managing directors, executives, division managers, department heads, team leaders, HR managers, process owners, transformation officers, service purchasers as well as sales and account managers.

Level/Difficulty: Beginner

Prerequisites

  • Completion of the online courses and reading of the documents and articles provided by Scaled Agile® after your registration for this course
  • You should allow at least 1 week for part-time preparation (at least 4 hours)
  • For remote courses, it is necessary to test the course environment with all participants in order to avoid delays at the start of the course. This test usually takes place in the early evening on a day the week before. If one date is not possible for all participants, Bizagility offers up to 2 test dates. Bizagility invites the course participants via Outlook with a Teams link. Of course, all course participants need a stable and high-performance internet connection, ideally a headset and a camera.
  • On-site courses require a professional training environment that corresponds to the number of course participants. Above all, the room size, ventilation, background noise and equipment must be right. Sometimes it makes sense to hire an external conference room for this purpose. This environment must be available to the trainer on the day before the first day of the course for preparation and testing. In the event of questions or problems, the trainer needs a contact person from the customer.
