Workshop Overview

In our workshop, we shed light on the challenges of an agile transformation with honest directness. You will notice that our goal is not to convince you of agility. Instead, we confront you with profound questions that make you think – about the basis of your initiative, the readiness of your organization and the obstacles to implementation. With our help, you will answer these questions on your own and gain crucial insights for your next steps.

We dive deep into the world of agility and shed light on its foundations, attitudes, values and principles. We explore how agile methods bring corporate strategy to life through portfolio management, budgeting and resource management. The transformation of existing structures into an agile organization is in focus, as well as overcoming obstacles to agile transformation. We discuss how iterative work contrasts with traditional planning and develop strategies for successful implementation. The adaptation of business processes and the definition of readiness criteria are addressed as well as the harmonization and standardization of business processes. Finally, we take an objective look at the pros and cons of planning and agile organizations to provide you with a solid basis for internal decision-making.

The goal of this workshop is to identify the challenges before starting an agile transformation, give the pre-project time to develop solution strategies, lay the foundations for a successful project start, reduce the risk of project failure, preserve budgets, use time effectively and efficiently, and target internal and external resources when they are needed to prevent frustration often associated with high staff fluctuation.

Target Group

This workshop is aimed specifically at shareholders/supervisory boards and top management levels. If a transformation project already exists, it makes sense to invite the agile and/or digital transformation lead in order to incorporate existing obstacles to implementation.

Prerequisites

  • Initial meeting or Gemba Hike with at least one representative of the target group
  • Course participants need a stable and high-performance internet connection for the remote workshop, ideally a headset and a camera.
  • On-site courses require a professional workshop environment that is appropriate for the number of participants. Above all, the room size, ventilation, background noise and equipment must be right. Sometimes it makes sense to hire an external conference room for this purpose. This environment must be available to the workshop leader on the day before the first day of the course for preparation and testing. In the event of questions or problems, the workshop leader needs a contact person from the customer.
